Blood Drive at UUC

August 18, 19, 23 & 24 (Wed, Thurs, Mon, Tues), by appointment

Person wearing a medical mask and donating blood

University Unitarian Church will again be hosting a Bloodworks Northwest ‘Pop-Up Donor Center,’ providing donors a convenient, local location to donate blood.

When the weather warms up, so does our community’s need for blood. Our blood supply has decreased 45%, leaving us with one of the lowest inventory levels since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Your commitment helps ensure local patients receive lifesaving care—because the need for blood doesn’t take a summer break. Let’s save more lives together.

Bloodworks Northwest

All donations are by appointment only. The one hour donation appointment is a safe and essential action to support local hospitals and patients. The pop-up centers are being conducted in accordance with social distancing guidelines. No walk-ins, guests, or people under age 16 are permitted onsite. All donors are required to wear masks during their appointment. COVID-19 Vaccine & Blood Donation: There is no wait to donate if you receive the Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson/Janssen, Novovax or AstraZeneca COVID vaccine. For more vaccine guidance, visit bloodworksnw.org/coronavirus.
