Artist Reception: Elizabeth Kincaid
Sunday, September 19, 1–3 p.m. in the UUC Foyer and Chapel
Come and meet artist Elizabeth Kincaid at an Artist Reception on Sunday, September 19. Kincaid’s exhibit, “Watercolor Paintings That Dance with Light,” includes paintings of flowers and landscapes that are full of vibrant color and depth. There is also a large “Tree of Life.“ Kincaid works in a realistic style that is strongly graphic and impressionistic. She builds paintings from many thin glazes of brilliant and luminous color. Elizabeth earned a BFA in Graphic Design at University of Washington and worked as a graphic designer for South Seattle Community College. She has taught watercolor classes in her home studio, at the Kirkland Arts Center, and elsewhere. She is past president of Women Painters of Washington and a signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society. Many of the works on exhibit are for sale at the reception.
All are invited, but attendees must be fully vaccinated and must show proof of vaccination to be admitted. Check-in is required to provide a record of attendees, should contact tracing be needed. Face masks must be worn while inside the building. We are very sorry, but we are unable to accommodate unvaccinated children at this time. Refreshments will be served.
To purchase artwork during the coffee hours following our Sunday morning services, look for a UUC Art Committee member wearing a bright red button.
