Art in Chapel

Watercolor of water lilies and leaves, signed E. Kincaid

The Art Committee is excited to announce that art is coming back to the Chapel just in time for Homecoming Sunday, September 12. We’ll start by showing Elizabeth Kincaid’s beautiful watercolor paintings of flowers and landscapes that are filled with light. There will also be a large “Tree of Life” in the exhibit.

Elizabeth Kincaid’s work will be the first in series of exhibits that will change about every 6 weeks throughout the year. An Artist Reception is scheduled for the following Sunday, September 19, from 1–3 p.m. All are invited, but attendees must be fully vaccinated and must show proof of vaccination to be admitted. Check-in is required to provide a record of attendees, should contact tracing be needed. Face masks must be worn while inside the building. We are very sorry, but we are unable to accommodate unvaccinated children at this time.

If you are interested in purchasing a piece of art on Sunday, please find an Art Committee member wearing a bright red button before or after the church service, or come to the reception on September 19.
