You Are Home at University Unitarian Church
After more than a year of significant transitions and change, we are hopeful that you feel you are home at UUC—not only that you are comfortable in our renovated physical space, but that your connections to the people, spiritual development, and social justice causes inspire, challenge and connect you.
Our church home is a place to support each other, promote our values and build on our legacy of love in action. Your presence and participation are a critical part of making our church community feel like home!
You are invited to participate in the following activities this month:
March 20 All Ages Housewarming Party in Nathan Johnson Hall
Enjoy a celebration of our church home from 4:30-7:00 PM on Friday, March 20. Bring a bottle of wine, sparkling water, or juice to share. Light hors d’oeuvres will be provided. Please RSVP at the link below and consider a volunteer role for the evening. There is no cost for this event. RSVP and sign up to volunteer here.
March 22 Church Rededication Sunday at both services
Welcome our special guest, UUA President Reverend Susan Frederick-Gray, as we rededicate our building. Our plate collection will support our fifth principle—upholding the democratic process—through #UUtheVote initiative.
March 29 Annual Giving Commitment Day
Give to the life and work of our church community by submitting your annual pledge. Each Sunday in March during coffee hour, we will provide information and support for how to make an online pledge. Please use this link to make your gift today: UUC Connect and click on “Giving” and then “+Pledge”
UUC will be monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will communicate if we need to reschedule our planned party and services.
