Wednesday Forum Online – April 8

Wednesday, April 8, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. via Zoom

Marlon Brown

We are looking forward welcoming our guest presenter, Marlon Brown, who will speak to the grassroots work of Black Lives Matter of Seattle/King County to advance empowerment of black and other people of color through advocacy and direct action.

Marlon, a long-time activist, serves on the Board of Directors of this cooperative justice effort. He has spent more than 10 years working professionally in Equity and Social Justice, following a 20-year career in IT and as a business owner, singer, and radio show host to name a few of the many hats he wears. His consulting specialty includes leadership coaching, facilitation/training and organizational development.

Marlon will provide a short presentation and then will invite our questions about the work of BLM and how we can better understand and support the life-saving initiatives of the local chapter.

Join us for our weekly online/phone meeting. You’ll find the Zoom link via UUC Connect, or contact the church office. All are welcome.
