Daily Chalice Check-Ins, with UUC’s ministers

Monday through Friday at 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. via Zoom, ending April 17
UUC’s ministers will offer a morning chalice lighting, brief meditations or reflections, and hold space for people to check in with one another.

Afternoon Movement for Children

Monday afternoons, 1:00 – 1:30 p.m. via Zoom
Sometimes silly and energetic, sometimes more slow and thoughtful. We will take a few moments to get centered in our body and to move in ways which help us let go of anxiety and pent up energy.

Intergenerational Choir Song Circle

Monday evenings, 7 p.m. via Zoom
The IGC invites anyone who likes to sing to attend. We’ll check in with one another, and then use a “song circle” format. Each person is invited to share (sing) a song or a portion of a song of their choice, and we’ll sing a few together.

Meditation Moment for Children

Tuesday mornings, 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. via Zoom
Shared, guided meditation will help us calm our minds and spirits, to feel grounded, and to make sense of what’s happening around us.

Special Activity for Families

Wednesday mornings, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. via Zoom
Each week, Melody and Aria will lead a special, fun activity which families can participate in from home. We’ll start on April 8th with some fun Easter preparation, and continue throughout the month with activities like Chalice and Altar Making tutorials.

Parent Check-In

Thursday evenings, 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. via Zoom
UUC parents are invited to this low-key opportunity to see and hear one another, to commiserate, and to share with one another. Feel free to come in your comfy clothes or pajamas, and to bring your tea, wine, or other evening beverage. We’ll start our time with a chalice lighting, and then check in about the things that are bringing us joy and what we’re struggling with.

Care Team Café, with Care Team Members

Thursday afternoons, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.

During this period of social distancing, members of the Care Team will be bringing people together through informal, friendly, supportive gatherings online.

Chalice Chuckle Check-In

Saturday mornings, 9:30 – 10:00 a.m.

Join others in the spirit of levity Saturday morning online! Bring your favorite joke, meme, pun, knock-knock, cartoon, limerick, goofy song, or very brief story to get the weekend off to a light-hearted start. Keep it G-rated for all ages please, and nothing political, demeaning, raunchy, or coronavirus-related. Visuals can be screen-shared, scanned and emailed to the facilitator ahead of time, or just held up to the camera. Performers welcome, but keep it short so everyone has a chance to share.
