UUC Families Present on Climate Action and Food
Sunday, October 11, 4:00 p.m. via Zoom
Join us on October 11 to cook and learn together! Led by UUC children and youth, we’ll explore the ways in which agriculture and food access are tied to climate change.
Cooking will begin at 4 p.m. You are invited to follow along with the presenters as they cook Sweet Potato, Red Lentil and Peanut Stew – a recipe which comes from the kitchen of the Hendrickson/Kuttykrishnan family! You are also welcome to bring your favorite vegetarian recipe and cook alongside the group. To view the recipe we’ll be using and see the ingredients you’ll need, please click here. For those who are more interested in shared reflection, we’ll begin our presentation and discussion at 5:00 p.m. We’ll finish up at about 5:45 p.m.
