Use Your Voice
Use your voice and show up in solidarity with the immigrant community!
More than 250,000 undocumented immigrants call Washington home. UUC’s Immigrant Justice Team invites you to take action and ensure that we all are treated with care and dignity. No one should be left out.
Opportunities for advocacy–
- Include Undocumented Communities in Washington’s COVID-19 Relief – UUC was among over 400 organizations to sign on to a letter to Gov. Inslee, urging that undocumented immigrants and their families receive relief related to COVID-19. While the coronavirus pandemic has impacted us all, undocumented immigrants are uniquely at risk, and they are excluded from both unemployment benefits and the federal COVID-19 relief package. Join UUC’s Immigrant Justice Team, the Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network (WAISN), the Faith Action Network (FAN) and many others to now sign on as an individual. - Join the Free Them All Campaign – In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, many nationwide are calling for the immediate release of those in immigration detention. These facilities, along with prisons and jails, are sites where people are acutely vulnerable to health complications and the impact of outbreaks. Click here to learn more.
Together, we can make our voices heard!
