UUC Thank You Video!

Dear Members and Friends,

Each week we say together, “When we contribute to the life of this community, we affirm our lives within it.” This past month you have affirmed your care and commitment to our UUC community and we have been so inspired by your generosity. To date, 299 pledges have already been made for our 2020-2021 church year and each gift sustains the life and work of our community, including our religious education, music and social justice programming. Thank you so much!

We wanted to share a short video message expressing our appreciation for your participation in this year’s Annual Giving Campaign:

If you have not yet been able to participate, it’s not too late! Help our church leaders plan for our upcoming June annual meeting by making your commitment this week. Please know that all of our pledges added together sustain our church and commitments of all sizes are appreciated and needed. We realize your situation may be uncertain, so please make a pledge that works for you and know you can make a change in the future as needed.

Generosity in These Times: A Message from Rev. Frederick-Gray, UUA President

“There are those who give with joy, and that joy is their reward.” Khalil Gibran

Dear Members and Friends of UUC,

Thank you for all the pledges and gifts to support UUC! Every gift helps sustain our cherished UUC community and by making a commitment now, our leaders can plan for our upcoming church year (July 2020-June 2021). If you have not yet made a pledge or gift, we ask that you consider doing so this week. Thank you.

This past March, we were to welcome Reverend Susan Frederick-Gray, the UUA President, as we rededicated our newly remodeled church. While we have postponed that event until the fall, we are pleased to share her message around the subject of generosity and how “a financial pledge is a promise, an inherently hopeful act.” We are delighted to share her message with you:

Inspiring message from Ken Mundt

Tuesday, April 7, 2020

Dear Members and Friends of UUC,

We are reaching out to ask you to make a commitment to sustain our beloved church by submitting a pledge for the 2020-2021 church year.

In our video this week, long-term UUC member, Ken Mundt, shares his experience of UUC being his church home for 21 years. His message is especially poignant as Ken will soon move to Bozeman, Montana. He has served in many leadership roles over the years and for those of you who don’t know Ken, he has a message especially for the new members and leaders of UUC. With appreciation, we thank Ken for all that he has given to UUC and we’ll look forward to keeping connected with him across the miles. As he states, our shared experiences are “bound together by love” and that cannot be taken away, although we will deeply miss Ken’s presence.

One of our shared community experiences is making a financial commitment to UUC. All of our pledges added together sustain our church, so please know that commitments of all sizes are appreciated. We realize your situation may be uncertain, so please make a pledge that works for you and know you can make a change in the future as needed.
