UUC volunteers have been providing meals to guests at the Winter Shelter operated by Lake City Partners Ending Homelessness. Now the UUC Economic Justice Team is asking for your help in another way: every year the Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU) sponsors the “People Helping People” Awards program to recognize and honor non-profit organizations that support others in our community. This year, Lake City Partners Ending Homelessness has been selected as one of the 18 admirable organizations in the “People’s Choice Award” category. The winner of this award will receive $40,000 to support their work. We hope that you will consider voting for this program.
