Join UUC Children, Youth and Families for an Evening of Climate Action

Sunday, July 26, 4-5 p.m. (advance registration required)

Planned in partnership with UUC children and families, and inspired by the UUC Community Action Circle, this event will feature a presentation from Jonathan Tweet and reflection about why we commit to climate action in our UUC community. Children will get a chance to ask questions and parents are encouraged to come prepared with a memory or example from their life related to environmentalism. Participants will be invited to draw and/or write to state politicians, supporting climate action. A follow up meeting will be scheduled with the House Environment and Energy Committee Chair, Rep. Joe Fitzgibbon, to discuss bills being prepared for the 2021 legislative session. Look for a flyer in your July church school packet as well.

All children, youth and their families are encouraged to join! Questions? Contact Aria Curtis.
