Come join members of UUC’s Economic Justice Team to hear about the activities of Habitat for Humanity (HFH) in Seattle. Joel Feldman, HFH’s liaison with faith-based organizations, will be speaking about HFH’s current and future building plans, and how we can get involved. Habitat has begun a major new Seattle project, building 16 townhouses for low-income homeowners in Lake City on 35th Ave NE. Our congregation has donated to and participated in three prior HFH builds, and the Economic Justice Team is interested in organizing a group from the church to participate in this project.
