Blood Drive at UUC

"Someone else will donate blood" BE THE SOMEONE - Bloodworks Northwest

Monday, August 31 and Tuesday, September 1 by appointment

University Unitarian Church will be hosting a new Bloodworks Northwest ‘Pop-Up Donor Center,’ providing donors a convenient, local location to donate blood during statewide stay-at-home orders. Local, state, and national leaders are unanimous: donating blood remains a critical and safe activity for community health.

All donations at this Pop-Up Donor Center and Bloodworks NW’s other Donor Centers are by appointment only to provide the safest donation environment, and adhere to all social distancing guidelines. Additionally, no walk-ins, guests, or people under age 16 are permitted onsite. Your one-hour donation appointment is a safe and essential action to support local hospitals.

(Please note that this is NOT an opportunity to visit other parts of our building or to stay beyond your appointment.)

This flyer has a little more info. Have a question? Email Bloodworks NW or call (800) 398-7888. For more information regarding blood donation during COVID-19, visit bloodworksnw.org/coronavirus.

Update: The appointment schedule for both Monday, August 31 and Tuesday, September 1 are currently full. Bloodworks NW will be back at UUC on October 27, 28 & 29. You can schedule an appointment today to donate in October.
