Summer Sundays at Meadowbrook

Throughout the summer, from June 9 – September 1, 2019, UUC will continue to have church services at the Meadowbrook Community Center beginning at 10 a.m. Guest speakers will fill the pulpit, and Dwight Beckmeyer will provide music. We will have coffee and conversation afterwards as usual, but will not serve coffee before the church service. Doors will open by 9:30 a.m.; please do not arrive before that time to allow our set-up crew and those participating in the church service to prepare for you.

We will offer childcare for children 5th grade and under. Sprouts care will be in Room 10 from 10-11 a.m., offering loving care for children from 6 months through age 4 1/2. The Elementary program will emphasize play and story for PK-5th grade students, in the Multipurpose Room from 10-11 a.m. These programs welcome drop-ins. (There will not be summer programming for middle- and high-school students.)

During the summer, two rooms will be available for small group meetings between 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; contact Jessica Monahan to book one of them. You can find Jessica at the Church Office Monday through Thursday, or at the Connections Table on Sundays at Meadowbrook.

Our regular Sunday Worship services with choirs, childrens programs for pre-K through grade 12 – and yes, early morning coffee – will return with Homecoming Sunday at Meadowbrook on September 9.
