Seeking Volunteer Teachers
Are you a comparative religion geek? Do you love gushing over toddlers? Are you a good listener? Do you love to tell stories? Do you long to be an impactful mentor in the life of a child?
If so, we need you!
We are now recruiting adults and teenagers to serve as volunteer teachers during the 2019-2020 church year. Volunteers teach twice per month. We can accommodate complicated schedules.
Prospective teachers need to have been members/active participants at UUC for at least one year. Volunteers should feel comfortable working with children or youth, have effective interpersonal communication skills, and identify as a Unitarian Universalist. Past teaching and/or childcare experience is desired, though not required.
Teachers are needed for programs from toddlers through high school students, both at Meadowbrook Community Center and as we transition back to two worship services in our beautiful new building the first week of November.
