Join the Seattle Youth Climate March

Saturday, July 21, 9 a.m. rally, 10:30 a.m. march

Last Sunday, Caroline and Sierra, UUC youth and climate activists invited UUC to join at the Zero Hour Youth Climate March happening in Seattle on July 21st. You are invited to come to the rally at Garfield Community Center Playfield at 9:00 am and the march to Judkins Park together at 10:30 am. Come support the vision and leadership of the children and youth who are organizing the Zero Hour Youth Climate March, including UUC youth. Come join a youth-led movement for a livable future!

The Garfield Community Center is at 2323 E Cherry Street.

Why we march (from www.zerohourseattle.org):

  • We believe that this zero hour to act on climate change. This is the last hour, the last generation that can do something about climate change.
  • We believe that having clean air, water and a livable future is a right, not a privilege.
  • We believe that we cannot wait for adults to do something about climate change.
