Job Title:
Director, Intergenerational Choir
Amanda Huntleigh has a strong backround teaching music to children, youth, and adults, having worked as a public school music teacher, church choir director, private voice teacher, and music theater director. She is currently in the choral conducting doctoral program at the University of Washington, and has a Bachelor of Music Education degree, as well as a Master of Conducting degree. We are delighted that she possesses the right combination of experience and skills to both lead the IGC and to work with children in the church school on Sunday mornings. Additionally, Amanda has worked in a Unitarian church, so she knows and understands UU culture and values. She is also a delightful and fun person who loves working with kids and adults.
