Young adults are 18- to 35-year-olds exploring Unitarian Universalism together through social, spiritual, educational, and community service activities.
Examples of recent projects, classes, and events include:
- Designing and leading a Sunday service for the entire congregation
- Preparing and cooking a meal for residents of Tent City 3, Seattle’s campsite for homeless adults
- Build Your Own Theology for young adults, a course about exploring and articulating one’s beliefs
- Bowling, roller-skating, and rock climbing
There are many opportunities to become involved:
- Join us every Sunday after the second service for coffee, bagels, and conversation at Grateful Bread, located at NE 70th Street and 35th Avenue NE.
- Help plan one of our worship services or other events at Young Adult Ministry/YAM meetings, held once every other month.
- Help with our new campus group at the University of Washington.
- Find out about upcoming events by subscribing to the young adult newsletter, sent every other week.
