This lovely detail comes from the ironwork sculpture affixed to the exterior of University Unitarian Church. Artist Norman G. Warsinske (1929-2007) was a local artist and designer with a wide array of creative interests. Other works can be found at Western Washington University [1] and the Seattle IBM Building. Among his many pursuits was his professional association with University Village’s Miller Pollard shop and his Venetian gondola, which he rowed on Lake Washington.
