This lovely detail comes from the ironwork sculpture affixed to the exterior of University Unitarian Church. Artist Norman G. Warsinske (1929-2007) was a local artist and designer with a wide array of creative interests. Other works can be found at Western Washington University and the Seattle IBM Building. Among his many pursuits was his professional association with University Village’s Miller Pollard shop and his Venetian gondola, which he rowed on Lake Washington.
