Carnivale! will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2009. We promise a fun event, reflective of the energy and enthusiasm of our community. Mark your calendars and save the date!

Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas. There is something for everyone, from check-in to check-out, from procuring items to writing thank-you notes. To volunteer, contact the auction committee led by Lora Poepping and Kathleen Holm. For questions and sign-up, there will a table between Sunday services in Nathan Johnson Hall.

Starting at the end of May, the Auction Committee will have auction procurement forms available after each service. Please start thinking about what items you may be able to donate for the auction. Successful and fun items include:

• A week or weekend at your guest house or condo
• A tour of Lake Washington, Lake Union, or Puget Sound on your boat
• Dinner, hosted in your home, for 6 or more guests
• Handmade jewelry
• Services, such as gardening, painting, or plumbing

Start planning your donation items, and fill out a form as soon as they're available in Nathan Johnson Hall. Forms can be dropped in the Auction Mailbox - located at the Greeter's Desk - on Sundays until Fall.
