UUC and East Shore Unitarian come together for a 3-day weekend of fun, friendship, relaxation, and revitalization for Unitarians of all ages. Our adult program this year is Breath of Relief: How to Transform Compassion Fatigue into Positive Energy Flow with Karl LaRowe.
You can read all the details here [0] about Seabeck, children and youth programs, rooms and registrations, volunteer opportunities and more.
Compassion Fatigue [1] is a weariness brought about by repetitive, empathic response to pain and suffering and a result of absorbing and internalizing traumatic emotions. Breath of Relief is an activity-based workshop that empowers participants to identify the symptoms of Compassion Fatigue and transform them into energy and engagement.
