As a follow-up to the leadership retreat at the end of September 2007, the board of trustees and ministers called a town meeting in December 2007 to outline the steps necessary to launch a new project at UUC. (For background, please see the original 2007 Leadership Retreat Report [0].)

At the town meeting, they introduced a process of reflection and discernment, which individuals with new ideas can use to frame their proposals for new groups to be established at UUC. A similar process has been successful in helping develop groups and initiatives in the social justice program. This shared process builds on UUC's experiences there.
