ONE SERVICE SUMMER SUNDAYS

GATEWAY PUBLICATION STANDARDS
All announcements must be sponsored by one of UUC’s committees. This policy ensures that our publication is filled with information that is relevant and appropriate for our community.
Announcements-75 words: are small announcement pieces that would go in the “All in the Family” or in “Gatherings”
Church wide messages-100 words: General event announcements, for example all-church parties, special presentations, auction, etc.
The Wednesday Forum is held every Wednesday in the Knatvold Room from 11am - 1p, with people bringing bag lunches and discussing the topics of the day. All are welcome and invited to attend the stimulating and provocative discussions.

The Wednesday Forum is held every Wednesday in the Knatvold Room from 11am - 1p, with people bringing bag lunches and discussing the topics of the day. All are welcome and invited to attend the stimulating and provocative discussions.

Let’s create a community of friendship and caring! All women from UUC are invited, so if you know someone who might be interested in coming, please let her know. Come gather for conversation, connection, and food. Bring a dish to share. Meetings start with a potluck, then conversation and group discussion. It’s a great way to meet UUC women and get to know each other on a deeper level.

Everyone is invited to a reception for our August artists, Ann Heideman and Teresa Burrelsman, today from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
Ann Heideman's oil paintings of the natural world emphasize edges more than surfaces and primary colors over earth tones. She is interested in how we interpret pattern to find the interconnection among objects, and her paintings of rivers and gardens attempt to address that issue. Teresa Burrelsman uses pastels and collage in her still-life series of vases, bottles,and other everyday objects.
Her calm, dream-like images highlight shape, color, and light to help the viewer experience the contemplative feeling that the artist strives for in the act of creation. Refreshments will be served at the reception, and art work will be for sale. A portion of each sale benefits the church.
