The Membership Team invites everyone and all ages to an All-Church Breakfast honoring new UUC members on
Sunday, June 14th, between 8:30 and 9:45 am in Nathan Johnson Hall.  Come enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast and an opportunity to make new connections and sustain ongoing ones.  You will be well-fed in time to attend the 10 am worship service and Annual Congregational Meeting.

UUC Book Sale – June 20 & 21
The fabulous UUC Book Sale is coming back and better than ever!
Saturday and Sunday, June 20 & 21 are the dates to set on your calendar gadget of choice. We’re ready to collect boxes and boxes of treasures. We need your help. Bring your gently read books
in sturdy boxes to the church anytime during office hours,
Monday-Friday, 9:00 am -4:00 pm, or Sunday mornings.
Volunteers are needed to help sort through our books now and again the 2 weeks before the sale. We will also need
volunteers Thursday & Friday June 18 & 19 to help setup and for shifts the days of the sale to help sell these fantastic values. Look for signup opportunities in the Book Store on Sundays or call the office (206-524-8400 x23. It will be loads of fun!

What Characterizes A Humanist?Thursday, June 25, 2009
Do you think of yourself as an atheist, an agnostic, or a humanist (secular or
religious)?  What distinguishes humanists from other free thinkers or
non-believers?  Do you agree with the Humanist Manifesto?  We’ll have an open discussion of these questions and other topics that are on your mind.  Please join us in the Knatvold room at 7:00 pm on Thursday the 25th.

This committee of the Board of Trustee meets in a monthly advisory session with the Business Manager to establish and review personnel procedures, staffing levels, and job descriptions.  They review salary recommendations to be taken to the Finance Committee for consideration for annual budgets.  If grievances are lodged by staff or volunteers, the Committee would review these for compliance with policy and procedure.
