Join the UUCentral America Network for dinner, discussion and dessert with Fausto Valiente Roberto de Leon, Pastoral Commission for Peace and Ecology  (COPAE) in Guatemala.

COPAE works with residents of San Marcos to protect their health, environment and social structures from the damage caused by extensive mining and resource extraction and international monetary policies that favor foreign mining companies.

Today: Getting Around Green: Stories and Questions

Carol Cooper and Jack Lattemann, UUC members who also work for King County Metro Transit, host this forum where you can tell your stories about Getting Around Green over the past month. Share your experiences on how you bused, carpooled, biked, or walked to new and familiar places. Carol and Jack will also field your Metro questions and talk about upcoming public transportation developmetns in Central Puget Sound.

We will meet on June 3, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Knatvold room and June 11, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Knatvold room.
