This class is offered as part of UUC's Adult Religious Exploration (ARE) program. We will explore the ideas of David Korten's newest book The Great Turning: from Empire to Earth Community. If you haven't read the book, you can prepare for the class by downloading David Korten's article of the same name from the Summer 2006 edition of YES! A Journal of Positive Futures. April 13, 2008 at 3:00PM, University Unitarian Church will present an afternoon of Spanish and German Songs of Love and Loss with mezzo-soprano Heidi Vanderford and guitarist Daniel Corr. Music by Brahms, Falla, Granados, Sor and Giuliani will be performed. This recital represents the Vanderford-Corr Duo’s Northwest debut. A reception in NJ Hall will follow the recital. Brown Paper Tickets is selling tickets for this event with a small service fee. Start: 5:30 pm
