University Unitarian Church has a long history and proud tradition of
working for social justice and fighting against injustice of all kinds. Our
strong social justice program always has several initiatives under way.
The Living Justice Fund is a dedicated, restricted fund established by UUC to support social justice and social action activities of organizations outside of the church, when that work is consistent with the principles of Unitarian Universalism and UUC’s social justice goals.
We invite you to give to this fund, either directly or through a planned gift or other financial arrangement. As the Living Justice Fund grows, our hope is to award grants regularly in support of social justice, in this community and elsewhere. To give to the Living Justice Fund, please contact Jennifer Bright or the church office.
For more information on the process for reviewing and accepting grants, visit the Living Justice Fund page. For more information about the social justice causes supported by UUC's congregation, please see the Social Justice Program pages.
The long-term Social Justice Program Fund is an established Fund for the Future. Transfers from this fund directly support the social justice program within the church and are not used for outside grants.
