Young Adults at University Unitarian Church

UUC is home to a thriving community of young adults who explore Unitarian Universalism through fellowship, discussion, and service. Our programming is open to anyone who self-identifies as a young adult (typically those in their late 20s through mid 30s).

Each Sunday, we congregate briefly in Nathan Johnson Hall after the 11:15AM service (or the 10:00AM service during summer) and then head to Grateful Bread (located at NE 70th Street and 35th Avenue NE) for brunch and conversation.

Every other Wednesday, the Young Adult Affinity Group (YAAG) holds a peer-facilitated discussion on topics broadly related to spirituality.

Past topics include:

  • Politics without sadness
  • Things that awe
  • Spirituality and morality through children's books

Check the order of service or join the listserv to see when we're meeting.

Additionally, we engage in a variety of recreational and service activities:

  • Cooking meals for youth cons and tent cities
  • Potlucks, movie nights, lecture outings
  • Bowling, dancing, and kayaking

Please use our University Unitarian Church Young Adult Group on Google (or the YAAG mailing list on Google) to find out who is gathering when and where for great young adult activities.
