UUC recently hosted an advance screening of Soldiers of Conscience, a powerful documentary about soldiers in Iraq facing the most difficult moral decision: to kill or not to kill. You can still see the film at SIFF Cinema at McCaw Hall, November 2-8. Come to a facilitated discussion session at UUC on Veteran’s Day - Sunday November 11, at 1:30PM to discuss the film, the issues it raises, and what our congregation could do around war and peace. The UUC audience was very moved by this realistic yet optimistic film about war, peace and the power of the human conscience.
