The committee is seeking new members for 2010-2011! The role of the Social Justice Steering Committee is to help empower and support the social justice mission of our congregation, and to support and advise our Social Justice Coordinator. For the upcoming year one of our big tasks will be the launch of the new Seeds of Justice Grantm Program. Contact Social Justice Coordinator Jennifer Bright to learn more. We are looking for people who:

• Believe passionately in the power of social justice work within a church community
• Get satisfaction from working with others to nurture ideas and bring dreams to fruition
• Enjoy looking at things from a “big picture” perspective

For the upcoming year, we would particularly welcome someone with a background in grantmaking or fundraising.
