UUC's members have long provided meals and food to people in our community who face hunger.

UUC members cook and serve meals at the U District Teen Feed on the third Sunday of alternating months. Volunteers are needed to plan meals, shop, cook, serve food, and drive and accompany our youth. The schedule for the remainder of 2010 is listed below.

In addition, UUC members have organized trips to serve meals at Tent City, conducted food drives, and picked fresh organic fruit during harvest time for delivery to food banks and meal programs.
