In addition to our congregation's time, talent and moral voice, UUC makes grants and donations to social justice causes and organizations consistent with our values and goals.

Currently we have two significant initiatives for funding social justice causes and organizations.

• Social Justice Sunday Dedicated Plate Collections: Most months, we dedicate one Sunday's plate collection to a social justice organizion or cause with which we're involved. Plate dedications are proposed by our church's social justice ministries. We do not accept outside proposals at this time.
• Seeds of Justice Grant Program: A grant program intended to tackle the root causes of injustice, this initiative is kicking off in 2010 with one $10,000 grant, and we hope to see it grow.

We also contribute dues to key social justice partners at the local, state and international levels, and make smaller gifts throughout the year in response to emergent issues and opportunites.

UUC's members and friends make this work possible in a variety of ways:

• by participating in rebate programs such as the PCC Scrip Card program
• by matching their annual pledge through an employer gift matc
• by making an unrestricted donation or bequest
