December 26, 2011 marks our 41st annual Handel’s Messiah Sing-and-Play-Along. UUC is delighted to host this event, which is renowned in the Seattle community.

We sing and play every movement – and everyone gets a chance to sing the solos!

Messiah Sing-and-Play-Alongs have had some exciting moments – from an enormous round of applause for a particular trumpet player who tackled a solo with aplomb, to auction winners who have the privilege of conducting the enormous group for one movement!

This spectacular event is masterfully conducted by Karen P. Thomas, Artistic Director and Conductor of Seattle Pro Musica and Music Director of University Unitarian Church.
