December 26, 2007 marked our 38th annual Handel’s Messiah Sing-and-Play-Along. UUC is delighted to host this event, which is renowned in the Seattle community. The event is currently sold out. We sing and play every movement – and everyone gets a chance to sing the solos!

Messiah Sing-and-Play-Alongs have had some exciting moments – from an enormous round of applause for a particular trumpet player who tackled a solo with aplomb to auction winners who earn the privilege of conducting the enormous group for one movement!

Messiah Details

• All singers and instrumentalists are welcome to participate.
• Bring a vocal score if you have one. (Preferred edition is Watkins Shaw published by Novello.)
• Instrumentalists, please bring a music stand.
• Refreshments are served during the two intermissions.
• Donations are gratefully accepted.

Tickets are now sold out.

• General Admission - $12 in advance, $15 at door
• Students - $8 in advance, $10 at door
• Seniors (65 and up) - $10 in advance, $12 at door
• Proceeds cover the costs of the event and support the UUC music program. Brown Paper Tickets charges a small service fee to process orders.
