The UUC Adult Religious Exploration program promotes life-long intellectual and spiritual growth by providing diverse learning
Exploration
opportunities that strengthen community and support the engagement of members, friends, and visitors in the religious, social
community
and cultural issues of our time.
The following classes are being offered for winter and spring 2010. (For a full list of descriptions, see Winter 2010 Classes.) To register for a class, sign up in the volunteer workroom on Sunday morning, or contact the church office online, or phone the office at 525-8400 ext. 810.
University Unitarian Church’s Adult Religious Exploration Program is largely self-supporting. In addition to a small amount budgeted to the program annually, your donations collected for classes help to cover our expenses (e.g., mailings and printings, staff time for creation of rosters, packet assembly etc., building overhead, custodial time). If you cannot afford the full, suggested donation, please contribute what you can. (Additional donations are also welcome!) Class leaders are not allowed to promote their own personal businesses for financial gain.
General Fee Guidelines:
One session (1-2-hours): By donation
Two-three sessions: $15
Four sessions or more: $25.00
There may be additional fees if there is a required text, or honorarium for an outside presenter.
In general, there is no financial compensation to facilitators except for a stipend to those from outside the UUC community who will receive 50% of the course fees.
