Haim Mizrahi, immigrated from Egypt. He and his wife, Jodie, coordinate Beth Shalom’s involvement in providing housing and hospitality to asylum-seekers. UUC members Rick Beckel and Pam Smith Mentz have been involved with Beth Shalom launching their involvement, and Rick continues to offer accompaniment to two asylum-seekers hosted by a Beth Shalom family.
