Imprisoning a Generation: rubble seen through an archway

Imprisoning a Generation follows the stories of four young Palestinians who have been detained and imprisoned under the Israeli military and political systems. Their perspectives, and those of their families, give a glimpse into the tangled structures of oppression that expand beyond prison walls.

This film is being shown by the Seattle chapter of Unitarian Universalists for Justice in the Middle East in support of the reintroduction of federal legislation to prevent the Israeli government from using US funds to cover the costs of child imprisonment, H.R. 4391, “Promoting Human Rights by Ending Israeli Military Detention of Palestinian Children Act” from last year.

There will be discussion following the film. Food will be provided.
