Sunday, March 10, 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in Meadowbrook Room 23 (front)

Seattle just released its latest emissions data. How are we doing? Not very well. Some Climate Action Team members have been meeting with city and county council members and staff to discuss the Climate Action Plans (CAPs) that, so far, are ineffective. Others have been attending meetings about preserving Seattle’s trees. Still others are working on state legislation through JUUstice Washington, the state UU action network.

Everyone is welcome to attend the next Climate Action Team meeting to learn what is happening in our city, county, state, and beyond and how you can be part of the solution. Meanwhile, check out Portland’s effective Climate Action Plan.
