Building Site Visits

Not for Ourselves Alone--UUC

We are excited to offer a first-hand look at the progress on UUC’s future home to congregation members. Starting this month, BNBuilders will lead four small-group tours of the construction site. BNB will guide you throughout the site, share information and answer your questions.

The four dates of the site visits are March 27, May 7, May 15 and June 28. Visits will start at 3 p.m. and run approximately two hours. Space on each tour will be limited to 20, a number determined by BNB for safety.

If interested, we ask you to please keep these points in mind: You must be 18 or older. It is an active construction site, so you must be able to walk the site unassisted, including uneven surfaces, trip hazards, loose footing and low clearances. You will walk on dirt, mud and loose rock. Stairs may be steeper than usual. It is not an ADA site. Portable toilets will be available before and after the tour. You must wear sturdy pants such as jeans or work pants, closed-toe boots or shoes, and BNB-provided safety gear.

Online registration will open at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 10. It will be first-come, first-served. We ask that you sign up for one tour only. We will create waitlists if necessary. Full registration info forthcoming in the March 8 Gateway.
