Opportunities to Participate in Our Family Holiday Service
Family Holiday Service, December 16
(Some rehearsals start Monday, November 26)
Children, teens, and adults are needed to help with the Family Holiday Service on December 16. This year, the Family Candlelight Service (usually held on December 23) and the Family Holiday Service (usually the third Sunday of December) will be combined for the morning of December 16. This change is a response to space restraints in our temporary building.
Please contact Director of Religious Education Melody Moberg, to sign you or your children up for the following roles:
Nativity tableau: children needed for non-speaking roles such as Joseph, Mary, Wise People, the Donkey, Sheep, or Angels. High school youth are needed to narrate the tableau.
Speakers: people of all ages are needed to do readings throughout the service, namely our annual ritual of prayers for peace.
Movement Choir: people of all ages are invited to join the Brave Group for a movement choir, for the prelude and postlude. To sign up, contact Brave Group director Hali Erickson. You’ll want to plan to attend rehearsals at Sandpoint United Methodist Church from 5:30-6:30 pm on Monday, Nov. 26, Monday, Dec. 3 and Monday, Dec. 10.
