IMMIGRATION ACCOMPANIERS NEEDED
UUC’s Immigration Justice group invites you to learn how to help accompany someone to their appointment with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The Church Council of Greater Seattle is partnering with several legal aid programs to accompany their clients to immigration appointments. Volunteers will initially receive orientation to the practice of accompaniment and the biometrics appointment process at USCIS in Tukwila. Earlier this year, eight UUC congregants participated in the Accompaniment Training.
Volunteers should have weekday day-time availability, a reliable vehicle, and comfort interacting with immigration officials. Register online with the Church Council of Greater Seattle. If you have questions, contact Pam in the form below.
