2017 Seabeck Memorial Day Weekend Retreat

Friday-Monday, May 26-29, 2017, Seabeck Conference Center, Seabeck, WA

For more than 30 years, the East Shore and University Unitarian Churches have come together on Memorial Day for an all-ages weekend of fellowship at Seabeck Conference Center on Hood Canal. Part retreat and part social event, Seabeck puts a uniquely Unitarian Universalist spin on the American custom of “church camp,” providing three days of fun, friendship, relaxation, and revitalization for Unitarians of all ages. Bring the family, come solo, meet up with old friends and get acquainted with new ones. Programs and workshops for all ages are offered.

During the weekend, an optional two-day workshop will be run by Kiya Heartwood, an award-winning, internationally touring, roots/folk singer songwriter, composer and change artist. Her workshop, “The Music in Me,” will include explorations, exercises, experiments and just plain fun. See the Seabeck webpage for more information on Kiya Heartwood and this year’s program.
